My name is Michelle Newport.  I am a Certified Natural Health Consultant and Master Herbalist and a graduate of Trinity College of Natural Health.  My husband Brandon and I own Nature For Life and together we have grown a successful home business as independent distributors for Nature's Sunshine. We offer our clients products that support health and wellness including herbs, nutritional supplements, essential oils, homeopathics, natural weight loss, skin care and household products. Being independent distributors of NSP products allows us to offer our customers over 600 natural and organic pharmaceutical grade products.

How we got started in this business

My husband had been a member of Nature's Sunshine for several years and introduced me to NSP products in 2000 after I began dealing with several chronic health issues. I was so impressed with the products and the results I got that I signed up as a member. At the time I was an administrator for a medical practice and didn't know much about natural health.

The healing I experienced using herbs and nutritional supplements along with dietary changes began a passion for me to learn more about natural health. I began looking for opportunities to educate myself and fortunately Nature's Sunshine afforded me many opportunities to receive that education through seminars and free training. One thing that really appealed to me about NSP was their no non-sense approach to health. I respected the fact they empower their distributors to become Health Consultants by offering effective natural remedies to balance and maintain the body's health.

The training I received from NSP motivated me to learn even more about how I could use the NSP products to help others. In 2006, I made the decision to start my own health and wellness business as a Nature's Sunshine distributor. In 4 months I achieved manager status with NSP. In a little over 2 years we have seen our business quadruple!

Having the best of both worlds

Building the Nature's Sunshine business has allowed me the opportunity to be at home with my 2 girls and have a career that I absolutely love. I am blessed to have the best of both worlds. Brandon and I know we have chosen a family business that will endure and continues to thrive and we really enjoy being able to help those who need it. Today our focus is still on helping others achieve better health naturally but along with this we also offer the same opportunity we have had to others who have a desire to work from home and own their own health and wellness business.
